Recovery Resource Navigation
Help sorting through the questions that can make recovery feel overwhelming.
When Peace & Love Recovery opens, the goal is to help people in Fort Lauderdale and Broward County understand what kinds of recovery and community resources may fit their situation. Support may begin with a simple question, then move toward a more informed and practical next step.
Explore detox, residential care, outpatient services, recovery meetings, peer support, and other recovery pathways based on available options and individual needs.
Help identifying appropriate mental health, behavioral health, primary care, and other healthcare resources through qualified community providers.
Navigate housing, shelter, benefits, transportation, re-entry, and other practical resources that can support stability during recovery.
The Drop-In Vision
A place to be supported while the next step comes together.
The vision described in the fundraiser is to help people seeking detox or residential substance use treatment make a connection quickly, including same-day placement when appropriate options and partner availability allow.
While arrangements are being made, the goal is to offer a calm, welcoming environment where people can talk with peers and support professionals and, as resources allow, receive practical comforts such as a hot meal, a shower, and fresh clothing.
The Difference
A warm referral, not just a phone number.
When someone is already overwhelmed, a list of resources can become another barrier. Peace & Love Recovery plans to help people understand their options and, when possible, stay connected through the handoff.
A Simple Experience
Come in. Be heard. Find a next step.
Be welcomed without judgment
Start with a conversation in a safe environment where your dignity matters and you do not have to have everything figured out.
Talk through what you need
Connect with peer support and explore recovery, mental health, housing, healthcare, benefits, or other relevant resources.
Work toward a real connection
Move beyond a referral list and, when possible, receive practical help connecting with the service or provider that fits the next step.
A Clear Role in the Community
Peer support and navigation alongside qualified community providers.
Peace & Love Recovery is being planned as a drop-in recovery support and resource-navigation center. It is not currently an open detox facility, hospital, emergency department, or residential treatment program.
When the center launches, medical, clinical, treatment, housing, and other specialized needs will be connected to qualified providers and community partners as appropriate and available. The role of Peace & Love Recovery is to help people feel supported while they understand options and work toward a real connection.
Still in Development
Services will grow with funding, partnerships, staffing, and capacity.
The service descriptions on this page reflect the current vision. Specific programs, hours, eligibility, and availability will be shared as the organization develops.
“A safe place. Real support. Hope for tomorrow.”
That is the experience this center is being built to create for individuals, families, and loved ones across the community.
